On the first date when you are in the process of learning more about the person that you are interested in, there are some important questions that you should ask. Asking the right questions at the very beginning will tell you who you are getting as a mate. It's up to you to really hear, understand, and believe who they are telling you they are.
I asked a few good people what's an important question to ask on their first date, and here's what they said:
What is your religious background or preferences? Also, what are your expectations after the first date? Future dates? Sex? [So that everyone is on the same page]
- Danielle (Seattle, WA)
Do you have kids? Also, what's something from your past relationship that you think you have to work on more?
- Jeremy (Memphis, TN)
What are you looking for? Are you looking for a friend, relationship, dating with a purpose?
- Brittany (West Bloomfield, MI)
If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you buy? [This will show who or what he values, how mature he is, and how he handles his money]
- Sajonica (Memphis, TN)
How do you value social media? [This will direct the communication of the relationship, they may not communicate well because they dedicate themselves to social media]
- Kyle (Raleigh, NC)
Are you single? [You would be surprised how much people hide]
- Chip (Detroit, MI)
Are you married? To be specific, have you ever signed papers saying you are legally bonded to someone?
- Sierra (Detroit, MI)
What do you do?
- Nina (Dallas, TX)
What's your interest/hobbies?
- Tasha (Louisville, KY)
Do you have a girlfriend? More specifically is there any girl who thinks she is your girlfriend?
-Amber (Louisville, KY)
These are all great questions, what questions do you think should be asked on the first date?
